MADE IN BRASIL BOTECO is the new Brazilian hub in London. Renato Paziam, owner of Made in Brazil Restaurant in Camden Town, is now investing in another spot, in Chalk Farm. The “Boteco” offers live Brazilian music almost every day. Find out the attractions below:

In addition to his significant work as a performer, Gui also works extensively as project manager, producer and educator, involved in a variety of different formats and constantly in demand within the wider arts community. 06-Oct Monday Mario Bakuna: Mario Bakuna, composer and professional guitar player for over ten years, he is graduated as a musician at the Free University of Music in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and studied with musicians such as: Olmir Stocker, Roberto Sion and Roberto Bomilcar (pianist who played with Frank Sinatra during his visit to Brazil). Throughout his career he worked alongside the trombonist Itacir Bocato and the guitarists Renato Consorte and Renato Anesi, among other big names from the music scene in Sao Paulo. His research is guided by the improvement of a repertoire of instrumental music, whose main influences are the greats of Jazz and Bossa Nova, beyond developing new readings of enshrined Brazilian artists as Tom Jobim, Paulo Moura, João Donato, among others. In recent years he has been giving special dedication to reinterpretations of Samba Jazz – music genre that emerged in Rio de Janeiro in the 50s by musicians like the pianist Luiz Eca, Tamba Trio, Edson Machado, among others – attributing to this repertoire more sophisticated harmonies, inspired in the post-Bossa Nova movement. Recently, he traveled to Europe to expand his research, and since he has moved into London, England, he has been playing and disseminating Brazilian Jazz music
07-Oct Tuesday Giorgio Papini ( Jackx ) is a singer songwriter based in London who performs at different venues throughout the city and has an eclectic style, playing originals or covers in his own interpretation He’s also a guitarist and is involved with a few different projects, such as his band Depot Day, about to release its debut album and play at the O2 Academy Islington. 13-Oct Monday Carlinhos Franco: Carlinhos Franco Guitarist and singer was born in 1968 in Salvador Bahia, Brasil, he started to play Guitar at the age of 10. His singing career started 5 years later. He performed solo concerts in various cities of Brasil such as São-Paulo and Salvador and through all of Europe. In Switzerland , he played with the brazilian jazz ensemble “Amazonia” and “Ademir Candido Group” straight to the Montreux Jazz Festival and various brazilian benefit-galas performances, such as “Kinder in Brazilien” and TV appearances. He performed at the “International Song Festival in Cairo”, Egypt, interpreting songs from well-known US-composers Dan Serafini and George Nishigomi. Another boost in Carlinho’s Musical career. On his roaster, he has performed well-known Brazilian musicians and groups such as; Rafael Rabelo, Ademir Candido, Group Eldissa( Bangkok Jazz Festival 2005) MSC Cruises, Anselmo Netto Quartet, Adriano Adewale.
