As part of the Brazilian new wave “nova geração” of contemporary Brazilian artists Andre Luz has crafted a unique and contagious sound that blends an addictive concoction of Samba rock/ MPB (Musica Popular Brasileira), Tropicalia, and revolutionary Samba Soul flavours. Performing an upbeat mix of originals and Brazilian classics from the vaults, Andre Luz and his band showcase an addictive style of late 60’s soulful samba mixed with traditional baião, xote, maracatu, frevo and contemporary London ingredients, to create an exciting and original live flavour.
