Can’t Choose? Umbrella Projects gives you the opportunity to go to an art exhibition that includes live music and theatre!

Umbrella Projects is created to bring together a mix media evening with music, art and performance to engage with different audiences in one complete event. Underneath the same ‘umbrella’ three projects are put together to give birth to an evening to remember. In the music field, Project BRaz.UK brings the connection between Brazilian and British music to strengthen the bond between these two boiling cultures and gives the opportunity to experience different music collaborations.  

Line-up

+ Transformativa is a Brazilian electronic music producer based in London. “(…)Flits between minimal, oppressive-sounding spoken word and menacing electronica(…)” – Time Out London

+ We The Dead  is a Manchester band specialized in intricate micro-melodies and dark vocal harmonies in a world of acoustic and drums-led intelligence. Performed a live studio broadcast session for Steve Lamacq’s BBC 6 Music.

+ Bossarockers is a Brazilian trio based in London well known for mixing Bossa Nova and Samba with rock n’ roll features in their versions from the classics of Brazilian music.

Regarding art , Room66 presents a range of young emerging Artists in London interpreting art through the prism of contemporary life. The surrealistic, ready-made objects of Vinny Montag will leave the viewer smiling and wondering. Henri Ghosn creates real life London Art-works that will make you re-think the city life. One of the main goals of Room66 is to make art more approachable to a broader public by displaying affordable art (prices range from £60,- to £250,-). In the field of performance Bridge productions and There There Company presents ‘ Eastern Europeans for dummies’ , a short devised piece reflecting on national stereotypes, identity and understanding. ————————————————————————————————————————
