FILM SUMMARY

Simonal: No One Knows How Tough It Was looks at the rise and fall of singer Wilson Simonal (1939-2000). Considered Brazil’s first black pop superstar, Simonal gained prominence on television in the 1960s, but his career never recovered from accusations that he was a police informant.
